About ESA

Founded by Louisa Ewing, Ewing Swimming Academy is deeply committed to providing swimming lessons for all children, ensuring that every child, regardless of their abilities and circumstances, has an equal opportunity to access the joys of swimming.

I started Ewing Swimming Academy to offer and provide a service like no other. I have been teaching for 11 years and have seen and been a part of many different swim programmes. I found they all lacked key aspects, that I believe are key areas for children’s growth and development in the sport. We offer a range of different sized class as all children learn differently. Whether this be in a private 1.1, were the child needs maximum interaction and attention from the coach or is slightly nervous about going into a large group class. To our small groups, still offering that personal feel but not overcrowded where the child might feel lost or left out.

I have had the pleasure of teaching many children with physical disabilities, visual impairment, and neurodiversity. We are passionate and committed in delivering individualised attention to each child, catering to their unique needs, and fostering an inclusive environment so that every child can learn and thrive in the water. We play a crucial role in teaching individuals of all ages and abilities how to swim, ensuring they develop essential water safety skills, improve swimming techniques, and gain confidence in the water. We believe in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
