I was introduced to swimming at a very young age, by my mum who was also a competitive swimmer and swimming teacher.  

I then joined Guildford City Swimming Club when I was 8 years old.  I stayed at the Club for a further 18 years, during which time I used to teach & train the younger swimmers.  

I feel that teaching swimming is a very rewarding role, I enjoy being able to help children gain their confidence and to be safe in the water.  

Ewing Swimming Academy is a friendly swimming school that caters for all the differing needs of children, from the small class sizes to personal 1-1 lessons.

Claire holds the Level 1 and Level 2 ASA Swim for Life Aquatics Teaching qualifications. Alongside these, she also  safeguarding, which are renewed regularly. 

 

Claire ​is also a member of, and is fully insured by the Institute of Swimming.
