I started teaching at the age of 14 as a pool helper and worked my way up the ladder whilst competing. I began swimming competitively at eleven and was soon travelling up and down the country, competing at county, regional, and national swimming championships. Working as a pool helper from the age of 13 and teaching her own class from the age of 15, helping children become confident around water, and learning to swim is her passion, which gives her a great deal of personal satisfaction and pride.

I started Ewing Swimming Academy

After building up a core base of private clients, I took the plunge into my own swim school. I belive every child should learn and know how to swim. It's not just a sport but a life skill. I now run 60 sessions a week from our base at the Marist in Sunninghill and Bishops Gate.

When I am not teaching, I'm is a keen triathlete I have taken part in the Dorney Triathlons and continue to race, when possible. I am eager to be a role model our young swimmers at ESA.

Louisa holds the Level 1 and Level 2 ASA Swim for Life Aquatics Teaching qualifications. Alongside these, she also has the Level 1 & Level 2 coaching badges. And safeguarding, which are renewed regularly.

Louisa is also a member of, and is fully insured by the Institute of Swimming.
